In 2006, Nelson Fine Art purchased competitor, Tree House Gallery in Johnson City, TN. Tree House has been in business since 1981 so between the two galleries, there is more than 60 years of service to the custom framing needs of the region. With a huge base of customers, Tree House has poised itself to be one of the premier framing design studios around. Service has always been the bottom line for both Galleries so combining businesses has been a very natural process. James C. Penney was quoted in 1902, and is still the "bottom line" today at both Tree House and Nelson Fine Art, "It is the service we are not obliged to give that people value most."
